Designing a hybrid exhibition for Miller ICA was a rewarding opportunity to explore the process of creating an engaging visitor experience while staying true to the design intent of the artist. Through this process, I learned that designing for an exhibition experience involves finding the right balance between creativity and practicality. I often asked myself whether someone can navigate the space intuitively without needing instruction or if the design works for people of all heights. These considerations shifted my focus to how visitors experience and interact with the space, using elements like lighting, text, and object placement to shape a natural engagements. Ultimately, the project emphasized the importance of designing for people, not just spaces.
