Raise awareness for the Chinese Pangolin

Tasked to design a poster and an animation telling the story of the Chinese Pangolins, capturing its unique features, behavior, and living environment. Designed on tabloid paper, constrained to six colors and two fonts.

experiment with different layouts, colors combinations, and graphic elements while considering the story I want to convey about pangolins
consider colors, shapes, and the alignment of scales and fonts, exploring ways to simplify forms while preserving their connection to their unique anatomy
Throughout this project, I experimented with compositions, color palettes, and the challenge of translating a complex animal into a 2D illustration. I gained insights into abstracting complex forms while retaining enough detail to capture the essence of the animal using vector graphics. I also explored how to use colors and shapes to create depth and dimension. Moving forward, I plan to focus more on textual elements in the early stages of design, as I have recognized that font choice is just as important as other design aspects.
